Main features.

The elegant triangular shape makes the dodocool Aluminum USB Type-C to 4-port USB 3.0 Hub an ideal partner for a USB-C computer. Made of a durable aluminum shell and premium material. Turn one USB Type-C port into four USB 3.0 ports for USB-C devices and one USB-C charging port for the new MacBook (2015). The reversible USB-C connector lets you plug the cable into a USB-C device in either direction, plug and play, hot swap, no additional driver required. 4 USB 3.0 ports provide fast data transfer. The standard USB 3.0 ports let you connect up to four USB devices, such as a digital camera, flash drive, smartphone or tablet, to sync data. USB 3.0 supports data transfer speeds of up to 5 Gb/s. Backward compatible with USB 2.0 and USB 1.1. The new MacBook PD (Power Delivery) function lets you charge the new Apple MacBook through the USB-C female port while using the USB 3.0 ports for data transfer. Note: the USB-C female port works ONLY with new Apple MacBooks and devices that support the USB-C PD function!

Note:

This product supports the PD (Power Delivery) function. To charge a USB-C computer or laptop through the USB-C PD charging port, make sure the expansion card and motherboard of your computer or laptop support the PD function. Otherwise, this product cannot charge your USB-C computer or laptop. The USB Type-C female port does NOT support data transfer, it only supports PD charging for PD devices. It does NOT support charging for HP laptops and tablets via the USB Type-C PD charging port. It is NOT compatible with Samsung tablets and the ASUS Zenbook UX330UA. Dell USB-C laptops with power charging enabled via the USB-C PD charging port require the use of an original power adapter of 55 W or higher.

Important tips.

Here are 4 ways to reduce USB 3.0 radio interference with the wireless connection of some laptops: Option 1: Connect your laptop to a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network. Option 2: Connect devices (e.g. mouse, keyboard and hard drive) to the USB 2.0 ports on your laptop. Option 3: Connect the USB 3.0 hub to your laptop using a high-quality USB 3.0 extension cable or a longer one. Keep USB 3.0 devices away from the host computer. Option 4: Use high-quality shielded USB 3.0 device connector cables.
