DTECH RS232 DB9 serial cable – 5 m

The DTECH cable is a 9-pin RS232 null modem cable that connects two devices with a DB9 serial port over a distance of up to 5 metres. It is suitable for connecting older measuring devices, label printers, modems or industrial controllers.

Connection design

The cable uses 3-wire cabling (TX, RX, GND) with crossed transmit and receive lines, which allows direct communication between two RS232 devices without additional hardware configuration.

Construction

The DB9 connectors have fixing screws on both sides, ensuring a stable and secure connection. The cable is shielded with aluminium foil and the pins are gold-plated, which increases corrosion resistance and ensures stable signal transmission.
