ABS plastic welding rods, 20 pieces

A set of 20 black ABS plastic rods serves as filler material when welding and repairing plastic parts. Each rod is 20 cm long, 5 mm wide and 2.5 mm thick. Once melted, it fills cracks, gaps and holes, and after cooling it forms a durable bond with the repaired part.

What it is good for

ABS rods suit repairs of items made of the same plastic, such as car bumpers, water tanks, trash cans, device housings, boxes, and plastic kayaks and boats. They are also useful in model-making and craft work where you need to make or fill in a plastic part.

How to work

1. Clean and degrease the surface at the repair site.
2. Heat the part being welded and the rod with a plastic welder or another suitable heat source.
3. Press the melted rod onto the surface and let everything cool.

The rod is easy to cut, and excess material can be sanded off after cooling. Always match the type of rod to the type of plastic being repaired.
