Safescan 155-S G2 – automatic banknote tester

The Safescan 155-S G2 is a compact device for quickly checking the authenticity of banknotes at a till, shop, cafe or office. Just insert a banknote and the tester takes it in and verifies it by itself, with no need to inspect it by eye under a lamp. The banknote can be fed in four directions, which speeds up work at the counter.

Seven detection points

The device uses premium-class seven-point verification covering the banknotes' security features, and shows the result on a large graphic LCD display. The manufacturer states that checking is done with full accuracy.

Currencies

The tester comes with the EUR, GBP, CHF, SEK, NOK and DKK currency packs preinstalled. Additional packs, including one for the zloty (PLN), can be downloaded free of charge and loaded onto the device, so one tester can handle several currencies at the point of sale.
