vhbw ink ribbon – replacement for Olympia Carrera

This is a compatible ink ribbon for dot matrix and receipt printers, designed for Olympia Carrera de Luxe MD and Carrera II MD devices. The ribbon passes through the print head, and the pins press it against the paper, creating a legible print.

Build

The ribbon is made of nylon and is black. According to the seller's description, it is a replacement for the designation 186c1. The precise construction is meant to make replacement easier and ensure a clean, clear print.

Specifications

Dot matrix printers are still used to print reports and documents on continuous or multi-part paper. A dot matrix printer ink ribbon is a consumable that has to be replaced when the print becomes faint. This receipt printer ribbon is a cheaper alternative to the original.
