PNI SWR-300 – SWR and power meter for CB radios

The PNI SWR-300 reflectometer is used to measure the standing wave ratio (SWR) and the output power of a CB radio station. It is a basic tool for tuning an antenna – it lets you check whether the antenna installation works properly and whether the radio is being overloaded by reflected signal.

SWR and power measurement

The device measures SWR in the 26-30 MHz frequency range, typical of the CB band, and output power up to 100 W. This lets you both adjust the length and position of the antenna and check whether the transmitter is operating within safe power limits.

Operation

The meter has a clear needle display and simple function switches, so operation requires no specialist knowledge – it suits both beginner CB users and more experienced ones.

Connection

The reflectometer is inserted in the antenna line between the radio and the antenna, using standard CB connectors (SO-239 socket). The compact housing makes storage and quick hookup easy when needed.
