Mitchell Adventure II – spinning rod

The Mitchell Adventure II spinning rod is an offer for anglers looking for solid, affordable gear for spin fishing, in both fresh and salt water. The model, 2.1 meters long with a lure weight range of 8 to 25 grams, works well for classic casting of artificial lures, for example for flounder and other popular predatory species.

Construction

The rod has a two-piece glass composite construction, designed to withstand intensive use, powerful casts and fights with fish that put up resistance. The guides are made of stainless steel, resistant to salt water, which limits the risk of corrosion and provides a smoother, longer cast even with regular contact with salt water. The handle is made of soft, ergonomic EVA, providing a comfortable and secure grip when holding the rod for longer and while playing a fish.

Performance characteristics

The rod action is rated moderate and its power heavy, which translates into good control of the rig while keeping some reserve of strength. The maximum recommended lure weight is 25 grams, which allows fishing with both light and medium-heavy spinning lures.

Who it is for

It is a good choice for both beginners and younger anglers taking their first steps in spinning, thanks to its reasonable price and solid construction. The rod can be paired with other Mitchell reels and casting lures to make up a complete fishing set.
