Shakespeare Sigma Supra Fly - Fly Rod

The Shakespeare Sigma Supra Fly Fishing Rod is equipment for anglers who practice fly fishing, a technique based on a precise line cast using an artificial fly. The 10 foot, 7 wt line class model is a versatile choice that works well on both rivers and larger bodies of water.

Construction and materials

The rod blank is made of 30-ton carbon, which gives a slim, light and at the same time durable construction that makes all-day casting easier without excessive arm fatigue. The rod weighs only about 154 grams. The titanium oxide guides ensure smooth line flow and reduce friction, which means greater casting distance and accuracy. The reel seat is made of engraved aluminum, which provides a secure and stable reel mount during intensive fishing.

Ergonomics

The handle is made of AA grade cork and has a half-wells grip type, which gives good control and precision when casting, especially important in fly fishing. The blank action is described as medium-fast, which means a quick tip response while keeping adequate flexibility in the lower part of the rod, a solution appreciated by both beginners and more experienced fly anglers.

Set and transport

The rod comes with a protective Cordura tube, allowing safe storage and transport of the equipment between fishing sessions.
